Displaying dazzling musicianship, David Vernon and Dick Lee take you on a musical journey around the world, having absorbed influences from all corners of the globe. Performing acoustically, they offer a virtuoso range of music and humour which appeals to all tastes.

From the high energy Jewish hora and Gypsy rhythms, to the sublime Tango and Musette waltz, hot fiery Balkan Melodies and light Classical, Jazz and Traditional Music, they intertwine melody and harmony with consummate ease, offering a repertoire as exciting and varied as their undoubted talents.

David and Dick started performing together in 2002, appearing on STV and performing regularly around the country. They play a series of concerts every year during the Edinburgh Fringe at venue 67, Valvona and Crolla's Little Theatre.

Gig reviews:

The Scotsman
* * * * Review by Jan Fairley:
"Dick Lee's clarinet and David Vernon's accordion combine wonderfully, and their diverse selection of melodic tunes is totally engaging. Kicking off with Jewish klezmer "hora" wedding dances, moving onto a Carlos Gardel tango, thence to the Balkans via a "novelty number" called The Roulette Wheel, their playing is full of spirit and there are few musicians who can explain so simply what a complex time signatures really means.
Stranger on the Shore is a delight, as is their version of Shostakovitch's film music for The Gadfly . . . they make a great double act."

The Herald
* * * * Review by Rob Adams:
This very enjoyable session virtually takes you around the world in 80 minutes. Dick Lee, on clarinet and David Vernon on accordion, share a liking for an eclectic range of music, and they play it all with a genuine sense of enjoyment . . . a presentation that is as warmly informal as its musical content is refreshingly varied.”
